Midland Machinery (Heavy Lift) Ltd Installations were established in 1999 and continued to trade in the West Midlands as a machinery removal and crane hire.

Formed on 1st November 1999 by Mr Gary Ames, the company incorporated as Midland Machinery (Heavy Lift) Limited, specialising in Machinery Relocation and Heavy Lifting.
Since then the company has expanded rapidly by endeavouring to purchase only top-quality equipment to fulfil our customers’ needs.
This has resulted in the company becoming one of the UK’s leading providers within its field of Heavy Lifting not only in the Midlands but nationally.
Now the second Generation of the family is managing the operation, although the founder and his wife are still heavily involved.
The company is renowned for its expertise in machine tool transport, lifting and installation.

That’s why we feel it is paramount that we do all we can to reduce the risk of any accidents to your employees and ours, to site visitors, sub-contractors and members of the public.
We start by working with your health and safety management to carry out a full risk assessment of each project. This is designed in association with our comprehensive safety policies and procedures, to ensure that nobody (as far as reasonably practicable) is exposed to health and safety risks. We first produce a method statement which will be discussed and agreed with you before work begins.
We are proud of our excellent safety record and will continue to do all we can to maintain it.

To protect its clients from financial and legal exposure, the work carried out by the company is covered by the following insurance:
Engineering all risks and any non-accident limit is: £1,000,000
Public and Products Liability: £5,000,000
Employers Liability: £10,000,000
Additional increases in cover can be arranged at your request subject to additional premiums.

Our Passionate skilled workforce has many years of experience in the lifting and handling of valuable machinery and hi-tech equipment. Our fully qualified and certified on-site teams consist of Appointed Persons, Lift Supervisors, Riggers, Mechanical Lifting Plant Operators and Specialist HGV Drivers. All of our workforces are fully trained to the highest of standards and are regularly updated on any changes or new H&S laws & legislations associated with their trades.
