West Midlands, Midland Machinery (Heavy Lift) Ltd took part in the relocation of a Helicopter Simulator.

One of our successful projects for helicopter simulator relocation.

The mass of the stimulator body was in the region of 5000kg which needed to be dismantled to upload to our equipment.

The simulator required support at its current level by a suitable method to allow the team to disconnect the hydraulic motion base (consisting of six hydraulic jacks).

When dismantling the helicopter simulator it had to be lowered to ground level and then dismantled in two halves.

This was then manoeuvred safely and securely through an adjacent doorway and loaded using a Hyster S7 & Hyster S5 Forks, Jib, Cherry Picker and tackle onto our 4 Axle Low Loader Faymonville. Various items also had to be loaded securely to the 3 Axle King Curtainsider.
